God Never Fails! The Bible Says So

God never fails! How do I know? The Bible says so.

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: For the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people Unto the land which the Lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; And thou shalt cause them to inherit it. And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: Fear not, neither be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:6-8).

“There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee; I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Joshua 1:5).

“And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass” (Joshua 21:43-45).

“…ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof” (Joshua 23:14).

“Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant” (1 Kings 8:56).

“And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: Fear not, nor be dismayed: For the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee, He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, Until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord” (1 Chronicles 28:20).

I’m convinced. God will never fail! How do I know? The Bible says so.

Should I worry about anything? No! Because I joined the family of God through my faith in his beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and nothing will ever separate us. How do I know? The Bible says so.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:35-39).

So how should I live—fretful and anxious, never finding peace? No! How do I know? The Bible says so.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7 NIV).

So I can live filled with joy? Yes! How do I know? The Bible says so.

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full” (John 15:11).

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…” (Galatians 5:22-23).

At the end of this day, must I allow the darkness surrounding me to invite troubling thoughts robbing my rest? No! I can sleep in confidence and peace. How do I know? The Bible says so.

“When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken” (Proverbs 3:24-26).

“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8).

Are you convinced? God will never fail! How do I know? The Bible says so. Trust me on this. No. Trust him on this!

Tell me about a time when, in bleak circumstances, God came through for you. And please share this with your friends!
